Note that the old FBX Converter does not install in the Start Menu, so you'll have to find it manually in C:\Program Files\Autodesk\FBX\FBXConverter\2006.11.2. This resulting file will import into MotionBuilder 2009 just fine. Once you've downloaded that Converter, you'll simply choose the 'Convert FBX to FBX' tab and convert the FBX file to MB 7.5 / FBX 2006.11. Using the older FBX Converter worked fine as well - this is your realistic workaround solution Simply download the FBX 2006.11.2 Converter from (you'll have to click on the Archives section towards the bottom of the page after clicking the link leading to the current downloads). Just so you know: The re-saving of the file as is suggested by MB 2009, works. ![]() Obviously this is not a realistic workaround solution, as you perhaps don't have previous versions of MotionBuilder lying around like an Autodesk employee would.
